Trout Fishing in Rotorua

I went trout fishing in Rotorua. Trout is special because you can’t buy it in a shop. If you want to eat trout then you have to catch your own.

Once a month, children can catch trout at a special place in Rotorua. You need a licence to fish – just like you need a licence to drive a car. I was the second fastest child to catch a trout that day. I caught my trout in just over three minutes!

    And the fish were very yummy. Just as well that you caught your trout otherwise there would not have been enough food for our dinner with all those people who were there. Love Sue x
